How- To Guide: HTC Unlock via IMEI
What our service does and does not do – make sure you understand what you are buying!
HTC Unlock via IMEI allows you to remove the network lock from your HTC handset. After you unlock your phone, it will work with all compatible SIM cards (smart chips), even with those for different network providers.
This service will NOT remove your phone’s security lock, NOR recover a forgotten SIM card PIN or PUK.
Check if your mobile is supported
First, you should make sure you mobile phone model is supported by our service. HTC mobiles are sold directly under the HTC brand, but are also available under network provider brand names, which typically give no indication of their original HTC name and manufacture.
Before buying, we strongly recommend that you use our Find Phone option, select manufacturer HTC and
in a case you know the HTC model name of your mobile: select HTC
in a case you do not know the HTC model name of your cell phone: select your phone operator/carrier/manufacturer (e.g., T-Mobile, i-Mate, Qtek, Sony Ericsson)
in the Network dropdown list, and press OK . All supported devices will appear on the next page.
Alternatively, you can simply use our search tool. Just enter part of your phone model (e.g. G1, X1, Diamond2, etc.) in the search box, and hit the SEARCH button. If your phone is found, click on its name for more details about supported services and features.
If you cannot find your mobile model and you are sure it is manufactured by HTC, please feel free to contact us at info@fastgsm.com with information about your phone’s model, and we will be happy to check for you whether or not your device is supported.

Check if your phone asks for a SIM unlock code
Your mobile is supported? What next? You must verify that it can accept an unlock code. This is quite easy: Just insert a different network’s SIM card (smart chip), and see whether a network lock message is shown and whether you can input an unlock code and press OK.
