Is my phone supported?

Below Sony Ericsson Xperia phones are supported for unlocking:

E10a, E10i, E15, E15a, E15i, E16i, LT15a, LT15i, LT18, LT18a, LT18i, Live with Walkman, MK16, MT11, MT15a, MT15i, R800, R800a, R800at, R800i, SK17a, SK17i, ST15, ST17a, ST17i, ST18a, ST18i, U20, U20a, U20i, W8 Walkman, WT19a, WT19i, X10a, X10i, Xperia PLAY, Xperia SO-01B (DoCoMo), Xperia X8, Xperia X10, Xperia X10 mini, Xperia X10 mini pro, Xperia acro, Xperia acro SO-02C (DoCoMo), Xperia active, Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia arc SO-01C (DoCoMo), Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia neo, Xperia neo V, Xperia pro, Xperia ray, Xperia ray SO-03C (DoCoMo), Z1

Checking Android version

On following models you do not need to care about Android version as all versions are supported:

LT15a, LT15i, LT18, LT18a, LT18i, Live with Walkman, MK16, MT11, MT15a, MT15i, R800, R800a, R800at, R800i, SK17a, SK17i, ST15, ST17a, ST17i, ST18a, ST18i, WT19a, WT19i, Xperia PLAY, Xperia acro, Xperia acro SO-02C (DoCoMo), Xperia active, Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia arc SO-01C (DoCoMo), Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia neo, Xperia neo V, Xperia pro, Xperia ray, Xperia ray SO-03C (DoCoMo), Z1

If your phone is one of below models:

E10a, E10i, E15, E15a, E15i, E16i, U20, U20a, U20i, W8 Walkman, X10a, X10i, Xperia SO-01B (DoCoMo), Xperia X8, Xperia X10, Xperia X10 mini, Xperia X10 mini pro

you need to make sure your phone is running Android 2.1 or 2.2. Other versions are not supported for unlocking.

To check your Android version, power on your phone without SIM card, go to Settings > About phone and check Firmware version it must be higher then 1.6 e.g. 2.1-update1 means your phone is running Android 2.1.

If your phone is not 2.1 or 2.2 simply update the phone software prior unlocking.

Can Unlock Sony Ericsson Xperia service solve my problem?

Unlocking will remove

SIM network unlock PIN

screen on your supported Sony Ericsson phone. If you have different problem unlocking will not help you!

Below image 1. shows SIM network unlock PIN screen. Image 2. shows permanently blocked phone that can not accept your unique unlock code even if you have your unlock code. Our unlock by USB will unlock your phone even if it's permanently blocked and zero attempts are left!

What do I need to unlock my phone?

  • Windows XP/Vista/7 based computer (both 32-bit and 64-bit version is supported)
  • MicroUSB cable
  • Internet Connection

How to buy credit?

Create a new account at FastGSM.com website if you do not have one already. Login to My Account

You need to purchase the service only if don't have sufficient count of credits on your FastGSM account. If you already have the credits on your account you can simply skip purchase of the service.

Go to www.FastGSM.com, select manufacturer in Select your phone and your phone model. It will show your phone detail page. Choose service you need and click Buy now button. Click on Go to Checkout. Select your country, read our Terms and conditions, check I accept fastgsm.com conditions checkbox and click on desired payment method button. Now complete the payment.

Install and start Xperia Unlocker software

Close Sony Ericsson PC Suite and any other applications that block COM ports & Modems.

Download and install X Unlock Tool for Sony Ericsson Xperia

Now downloaded file. It will extract and run the X Unlock Tool.

Permanently unlock your phone via USB

Select your phone model and hit Next button.

Fill your unique FastGSM account Login and Password and hit Next button.

Power off your phone.

For E10a, E10i, E15, E15a, E15i, E16i, U20, U20a, U20i, W8 Walkman, X10a, X10i, Xperia SO-01B (DoCoMo), Xperia X8, Xperia X10, Xperia X10 mini, Xperia X10 mini pro: Simply connect the phone to USB while holding ← key on the phone. Release ← back key once the software detects the phone.

When the software says

Now disconnect phone, power it on.
Turn USB-debugging ON and connect phone back to PC

disconnect the phone from the USB. Power on the phone and wait until it fully starts up. You already enabled USB debugging during the driver installation. Now connect the phone back to the computer. Phone will restart automatically – don't worry that's fine.

For LT15a, LT15i, LT18, LT18a, LT18i, Live with Walkman, MK16, MT11, MT15a, MT15i, R800, R800a, R800at, R800i, SK17a, SK17i, ST15, ST17a, ST17i, ST18a, ST18i, WT19a, WT19i, Xperia PLAY, Xperia acro, Xperia acro SO-02C (DoCoMo), Xperia active, Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia arc SO-01C (DoCoMo), Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia neo, Xperia neo V, Xperia pro, Xperia ray, Xperia ray SO-03C (DoCoMo), Z1: These models require to connect TP (test point) to GND (ground). In such case just short the TP to the ground using metal clip, wire or tweezers and plug the USB cable to the phone. Disconnect TP once software to do so.

When you see

Unlock done! Disconnect your phone and reboot it.

message disconnect your phone from USB. Power off and insert different network SIM card. Power on the phone.
