Can Unlock Samsung OMAP service solve my problem?
Unlocking will remove
Network Lock
on your supported Samsung phone (see below image). If you have different problem unlocking will not help you!
Locked Windows Mobile based Samsung phone
What do I need to unlock my phone?
- Windows XP/Vista/7 based computer (both 32-bit and 64-bit version is supported)
- MicroUSB cable
- PayPal account or Visa/MasterCard/American Express credit card
How to buy credit?
Create new account at FastGSM.com website if you do not have one yet. Go to email you used for registration and click on activation link. Login to My Account
In Quick Search panel (left side of website) select Samsung and your phone model. It will show your phone detail page. Click Buy now! button next to Unlock service, go to Shopping card and click Go to Checkout. Read our Terms and conditions, check „I accept fastgsm.com conditions“ checkbox and click on Check out with PayPal. Now you need to pay using PayPal account or Credit Card.
Install device driver
Close Samsung PC Studio, Samsung Kies & Kies TrayAgent and any other applications that block COM ports & Modems.
Download and install Swallowtail Driver
Enable USB Diagnotics Mode
If your phone has SIM card inside, power off the phone , remove the SIM card and power on the phone.
Emergency calls keypad shows up after phone start up. This keypad does not have * keys so you need to open full keypad. To do that, hit Cancel button, then hit Phone button. Full keypad shows up.
Now type
*#7284#
to show DataConnection screen. Select
USB_PHONE
and hit OK button. Now type
*#9090#
Test Mode screen shows up. Select
[1] UART_HFK_USB_Diag
by hitting 1 key on the keypad.
Connect USB cable to your computer and then to the phone. Wait until all devices are installed.
Permanently unlock your phone via USB
Download and run Unlock Samsung Client
Type email and password for your FastGSM account and hit CHECK ACCOUNT STATE. It will show you count of credits. You need 1 credit for every single phone you want to read the unlock codes from.
Click on UNLOCK PHONE button and wait until UNLOCKING OK message shows up.
Disconnect USB cable from the phone phone.
Power off the phone. Insert back the SIM card and power on the phone again.
Congratulations! Your phone is permanently unlocked and can use it with different network SIM card. It will never relock again even if you do software update.
